  • "Hi, you’re a new face! Trainers who want to turn pro have to have a policy about Pokémon! What is your approach when you catch Pokémon? My policy is an all-out offensive with water-type Pokémon!”

Guess we can’t help it that the new generation can’t handle the challenge. Can’t really bring that up as an issue to file at the League either. Even as the last leader before the E4, some kids still don’t pose a threat. Pathetic, really.

It’s just really frustrating though, you know? Even when catering teams to what the challenger’s experience level is, kids these days don’t understand what it means to have a good strategy anymore!

I need to get back to Driftveil in Unova, maybe for a week or so. That was a ton of fun! There’s something about getting to go all out and not holding anything back in a battle that’s so refreshing, yaknow?

I just want to swim and explore undersea caverns with Gyarados, but I’ve been so swamped with challengers this week. Like, you’re just going to lose, anyway! No one’s gotten a badge from me in months. It’s really exhausting on my morale. It’s nice to actually feel challenged once in awhile, instead of just easy wins all the time. The League says I need to loosen up a bit, but that wouldn’t be very fair, would it?!
